Used this network? Please leave a rating between zero and ten:

Delight Mobile is owned and run by Mundio Mobile Limited, which is the same company that own Vectone mobile. Having just read that, you might be wondering why the prices for Delight Mobile are so much higher than those on Vectone. The fact is that the prices are not so much more expensive than you might have initially thought. With Delight, Mundio Mobile have taken an approach where the rates are set initially high but become much more competitive when their triple credit offer is taken into account (this is a permanent offer). This means that you can divide their rates by three to get the true cost. It's a strange approach (and not a very good one in our opinion), but it's one that is replicated by Tesco Mobile.

What looks initially like extremely pricey rates are actually amongst the cheapest available.

Taking into account that the prices are initially tripled, the true costs equate to 10p per minute, texts at slightly over 3p each, MMS messages 8p, 0800 numbers 6p per a minute, and 0870 numbers at 8p a minute. There's not many networks with better rates in any of those departments. Compared with 3 using you phone for 60 minutes of calls and sending 25 would save you over £10, although it might not initially look to be the case.

We've heard some rather bad things about both Delight and Vectone customer services, however, with people being overcharged and their staff being unhelpful and rude.

There's also a Fair Usage policy in effect, which mean their 'unlimited' offers gained when topping-up your phone are effectively capped at 3000 texts and 3000 minutes respectively.

Delight's prices are very misleading as you have to divide them by three to get their true costs due to Delight Mobiles triple credit offer. Calls work out at 10p per minute, texts at 3p each, MMS messages at 8p, 0800 numbers at 6p per minute, and 0870 numbers at 8p per minute.

Taking into account the way that Delight Mobile triples their initial prices but also any funds you add to your account, their data charges work out as excellent value. If you've topped up within the last 30 days you get a daily allowance of 10mb of free data per day, with anything over charged at what works out to be 10p per MB.
