Used this network? Please leave a rating between zero and ten:

Lebara Mobile is more geared towards calling abroad than calling within the UK, as such their prices for calling other phones within the UK are not the greatest. They are, however, still cheaper than all the major mobile networks and even cheaper than some of the virtual networks. Calls and texts to other Lebara numbers are free, and calls to UK landlines are pretty cheap too. Where Lebara really excels is in international calls, with calls to other countries starting at 1p per minute and international texts from 10p each.

If you use 200 minutes of calls and 100 text messages on Lebara you'll save £22 compared to the same usage on T-Mobile.

Lebara run on the Vodafone infrastructure, so their coverage is good.

If you're going to be making international calls then Lebara Mobile is well worth looking into. However, for UK based calls we'd recommend on of the cheaper networks like GiffGaff or Asda Mobile.

10p per minute for calls put Lebara firmly in the middle when it comes to rates, the same is also true for text messages which are 10p each. MMS prices are the highest you'll find at 45p per message, so be wary of that when deciding if this is the network for you. Data is charged at 15p per megabyte, but there's no daily allowance offer included like there is with some networks. 0800 numbers are quite cheap at 10p per minute, which is also the case for 0870 numbers.
