As well as the goodybag changes giffgaff have also increased some of there call charges to premium number. see below.

  • Calls to pager numbers (076) will move from 20p/minute to 40p/minute; (these are not mobile number which start 076)
  • Calls to personal numbers (070) will move from 20p/minute to 50p/minute; (these are not normal mobile number which start 070)
  • The Channel Islands & Isle of Man (currently in bundle) will be charged at standard EU rates.
  • Non mobile 07 numbers will be charged at 20p/minute (these are phone numbers which look like they are for a normal mobile phone, but in fact they usually connect to a hosted service on a geographic number). All of these number ranges will be communicated clearly on the giffgaff pricing pages and will be kept up to date, so it’s easy to see if a number falls into this category before you call;
  • Directory enquiries: In order to cover the wholesale costs for all calls to 118 numbers, these numbers will move from £1 per minute to £2 per minute. However, we also want to ensure there is a good value option for members and so we are keeping 118402 priced at £1 per minute; and
  • In addition to these changes, it is a regulatory requirement for all networks (landline or mobile) to charge 15p per call to the non-emergency police phone number (101) and so this charge will also be introduced.this charge will also be specified in the Pricing pages on giffgaff.com from 6thNovember.

All these changes will also be specified in the Pricing pages on giffgaff.com from 6thNovember.
